Moving can be an arduous task, and Van's situation hasn't made it any easier. After his father's marriage to Reagan, they had to relocate and reorganize their belongings. Despite Reagan's constant nagging about cleaning up the clutter, she hasn't been much help herself.

One day while digging through the mess, Van stumbles upon one of Reagan's old toys buried among a box of her unmentionables. Feeling both curious and intrigued, he brings it up to her during their next conversation. To his surprise, Reagan doesn't deny its existence; instead, she fesses up to having used it in the past.

Despite feeling somewhat violated by her past indiscretions, Van decides to press on rather than harbor resentment. He confronts Reagan about her confession, asking if she has any intention of resuming its use. To his dismay (and perhaps excitement), Reagan agrees but only after giving him a private demonstration first.

As they find themselves alone in a room, tension builds between them as she teases him relentlessly with the toy.
