Officer Jack had been on the lookout for petty theft incidents in the shopping mall. He was in his plainclothes, casually strolling around when he noticed a suspicious young girl trying to steal some pumpkin spice candles and potpourri from one of the stores. The girl, later identified as Brooke Lyn Rose, was caught red-handed.
